Literature Text

When we first met,
Your smile was my escape,
Love proclaimed through silent words;
Tender hands gently brushing
And hidden glances locking.

When we first kissed,
Your laugh was mine,
Love promised through whispered vows;
Gentle hands clasping,
And smitten stares exchanged.

When we first said goodbye,
Your broken heart waterlogged in my tears,
Love buried in forgotten moments;
Icy hands pulling away,
And guilty looks passed.

When we first remembered,
Your embrace erased past scars,
Love reawakened in passionate declarations;
Mature hands weaves together
And blind visions intertwined.

When we first felt nostalgic,
You were there to hold me,
Love heard in enjoyable silence;
Wrinkled hands settled near
And old gazes burn with young love.
A lot of my poetry feels so juvenile and immature. But I guess maybe it is. ;u; Well, some things just come with time, I suppose..

Speaking of time, the poem. Kind of a sweet little poem, I guess. I'm kind of tired at the moment, but I know I need to tweak and improve a couple of spots...

Anyways, hope you enjoy <3 Sorry I haven't uploaded in a lifetime...hehe.

your work is far from juvenile. Your works are fantastic, enjoyable, imbued with emotion, and very much enjoyable to read.

I agree that you could tweak it, ,if you so chose to make things better, but it's wonderful just the way it is as well.

Keep at it!
